Max Payne 3 launch trailer kick starts the hype

If you're not really excited for Max Payne 3 or just not that into it, this launch trailer from Rockstar Games may change your mind. In this gunfire packed and blood filled trailer we get a glimpse of the former detective's new life in Brazil. The game picks up eight years after Max Payne 2 and has Max working as security detail for a wealthy family. However, after a kidnapping Max is forced to face the warring street-gangs of Brazil and must delve into a web of conspiracy to get the answers he needs.

The trailer reveals a troubled Max Payne who reminisces about the past. Don't worry though, that isn't stopping him from pumping bad guys full of lead and just being badass. The over the top action looks better than ever and will carry over to an all new multiplayer aspect for Max Payne 3. The game hits stores May 15, less than a week away! get excited!

Max Payne get comic series, first Issue is available for download

Rockstar and Marvel Comics have partnered to develop a digital comic series based on the upcoming Max Payne 3 game. Better yet, original writer for the series Sam Lake will be co-writing the books with current Max Payne writer, Dan Houser. There will only be three books however but each one will be available for free download. The comics will detail parts of Max's past and will reveal parts of his life by revisiting events from Max Payne 1 and 2.

 The first chapter of the series titled "After the Fall" has already been made available for free download on Rockstar's website and on the Max Payne 3 website. If you're part of Rockstar's social club, you can also enter to win one of ten limited digital prints of the comic.
