Activision officially reveals Black Ops II and reveals trailer

Black Ops II was officially announced earlier today and the first trailer made a premier exciting fans worldwide no doubt. As speculated the game is set in the near future, year 2025 and is full of futuristic military weapons and gear. An elderly Frank Woods, who many will remember from the first Black Ops, warns of the dangers associated with building an army made of unmanned machines. Woods insists nothing can kick-ass like a soldier; and I think he may have a point after seeing what he's capable of and considering we all thought he blew up.

Futuristic tanks, drones, planes and helicopters seem to have been hijacked by an unknown enemy. as far as locations go, it's hard to tell. At one point in the trailer, the player is in a horse chase in the desert and in the next shooting it out in a firefight on city streets. I much prefer the Treyarch Call of Duty games over Infinity Ward's especially for the story aspect and so far Black Ops II looks very intriguing. Luckily Activision doesn't plan to stop here; tonight at midnight there should be detailed news on the game and impressions from people who had a chance to play hands-on.
