Sorcery for PlayStation Move Developer Diary

First announced at E3 in 2010 along with the debut of the PlayStation Move, information regarding Sorcery has been scarce. Sorcery follows a sorcerer's young apprentice named Finn and his companion, Erline, a talking cat. Finn must stop the Nightmare Queen from enshrouding the kingdoms of mankind in eternal darkness where her evil minions roam free. The game relies fully on the PlayStation Move, allowing players to 'cast' a slew of upgradable spells in a realistic fashion which will add that extra bit of excitement and interactivity to gameplay. Not only will players fight against the forces of darkness but they will solve puzzles, brew potions, craft new spells and help the local townsfolk they meet along their journey.

The Workshop, developers of Sorcery are excited for the release of the game and are promising the most interactive 'move' supported game to be developed yet. In the video below, they discuss some of the features and the technology behind Sorcery. The game seems to be geared toward a younger audience but I wouldn't be surprised to see praise from some more mature players; I'm looking forward to the game nd it's exclusive release on the PS3 on May 22. It looks great so far and the move integration looks seamless and easy to pick up. Under the dev. diary video is a gameplay video that has been out for a while but gives some insight into what gameplay will be like. Check them out. What do you think of Sorcery so far?
