Rockstar and Marvel Comics have partnered to develop a digital comic series based on the upcoming Max Payne 3 game. Better yet, original writer for the series Sam Lake will be co-writing the books with current Max Payne writer, Dan Houser. There will only be three books however but each one will be available for free download. The comics will detail parts of Max's past and will reveal parts of his life by revisiting events from Max Payne 1 and 2.
The first chapter of the series titled "After the Fall" has already been made available for free download on
Rockstar's website and on the
Max Payne 3 website. If you're part of Rockstar's social club, you can also enter to win one of ten limited digital prints of the comic.
